My name is Bradley Atkinson, I’m a 27-year-old self-taught artist based in Echo Park, California. My work spans various mediums, including film photography, figurative painting, sun-printed cyanotypes, and mosaics, with a recurring theme of memory and fleeting moments. Recently, my work has subtly /not-so-subtly/ explored queer identity and the dynamics of the gay gaze, drawing from my personal experiences and the shifting nature of subjective memory. Each work serves as a time capsule and invites viewers to reflect on their own narratives, often reflecting their own preconceptions and inhibitions back at them.
